Project Objective
Evolution Logistics & Warehousing is a newly established business entering the logistics and warehousing sector. As a startup, the company required a complete brand identity to establish a professional presence from the outset.
The initial request from the client was straightforward: they needed a logo, domain name, and professional email setup to begin operating their business. However, to ensure the company launched with a cohesive and credible brand, the project expanded into the development of a complete branding identity.
The goal was to create a visual identity that communicated movement, reliability, and operational efficiency, all key attributes within the logistics and warehousing industry.
Approach
The client initially shared a logo concept generated using AI, which served as a starting point for the design direction. While the concept captured the general idea the client liked, it required refinement to meet professional branding standards and ensure it would work effectively across different applications.
Rather than simply replicating the concept, the design process focused on rebuilding and improving the original idea, refining the structure, balance, and usability of the logo while maintaining the visual direction the client connected with.
To provide the client with additional options, a second logo concept was also developed, offering an alternative visual approach while still aligning with the logistics industry.
After reviewing both concepts, the client chose to proceed with the refined version of the original concept.
Logo Concept
The final logo features an icon inspired by the structure of a warehouse, visually representing the company’s core business.
Within the warehouse shape, the letter “E” is incorporated as a key design element. The middle bar of the “E” transforms into an arrow, symbolising movement, progress, and the flow of goods through logistics operations.
This combination creates a logo that communicates multiple ideas within a single symbol:
- Warehouse structure: representing storage and logistics infrastructure
- Letter “E”: reinforcing the brand name Evolution
- Arrow element: symbolising movement, distribution, and forward progress
The result is a logo that is simple, recognisable, and meaningful, while remaining versatile across both digital and printed branding materials.
Brand Identity Development
Once the primary logo was approved, the identity was expanded into a complete logo system to ensure flexibility across different branding applications.
This included:
- Primary Logo: the main brand mark
- Secondary Logo: an alternative layout for different placements
- Standalone Icon: ideal for smaller applications such as social media or branded materials
The visual identity was then documented within a brand identity guideline, ensuring consistent use of the logo, colours, and typography across all platforms.
Additional Branding Assets
To support the company’s professional communication from launch, additional branded materials were created.
These included:
- Email signature designs for two team members
- Professional letterhead designs for company documentation
Providing these assets ensured the business could present a consistent and professional image across both digital communication and printed documents.
Final Deliverables
At the completion of the project, Evolution Logistics & Warehousing received a fully organised brand asset package, including:
- Logo files in PNG, JPG, and print-ready PDF formats
- All logo variations and colour options
- Brand identity guideline document
- Email signature designs for multiple team members
- Letterhead designs
- Font files for installation and internal use
All files were delivered in a structured folder system, making it easy for the client to implement the branding across their website, email systems, and printed materials.
