Project Objective
Although Weavers Nest Guesthouse was an established accommodation provider, the business had no prior social media presence and relied heavily on third-party booking platforms such as Booking.com for visibility and enquiries.
The objective was to build brand awareness, strengthen credibility, and increase direct enquiries by creating a consistent and welcoming social media presence that reflects the tranquil, nature-focused experience of the guesthouse, while highlighting its unique location within a golf estate.
Approach
We started by creating and professionally setting up Facebook and Instagram business pages, ensuring correct configuration within Meta Business Manager. A Meta Pixel was installed on the newly developed website to future-proof the brand for upcoming paid advertising campaigns once the organic foundation is established.
A tailored social media strategy was developed, focusing on content pillars such as:
- Guesthouse rooms & amenities
- Guest reviews & social proof
- Local attractions & nearby experiences
- Getaway inspiration for different target audiences (e.g. girls’ weekends, golfers, couples, and nature lovers)
Content is planned and scheduled at up to 10 posts per month per platform, excluding stories, with a strong emphasis on calm, welcoming visuals and storytelling that reflects the guesthouse’s natural surroundings and golf estate setting.
All posts are custom designed using a combination of Canva and Adobe Illustrator, ensuring brand consistency and a polished, professional look. Captions, hashtags, and posting schedules are fully managed, allowing the client to remain hands-off while maintaining an active and engaging online presence.
To further boost visibility without paid ads, we implemented organic community-based promotion by sharing curated posts in relevant accommodation and travel-focused Facebook groups.
